Downstream Canoe Portage Ashton Lock
Update on 7/03/2023:
The navigation advisory notice issued for damage to the downstream canoe portage at Ashton Lock on the River Nene on 24/02/2023 is now rescinded as repairs have been made.
ADVICE (Friday 24 February 2023 until further notice)
Please be aware that contractors have made a temporary repair to damage made to the downstream canoe portage at Ashton Lock. The repair has left a raised edge on the canoe portage as shown.
If using the canoe portage please do so with caution whilst this temporary repair is in place
