Please be advised that third party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 126E, Chester on the Shropshire Union Canal.
The third party contractors working on behalf of the council will be carrying out an underwater inspection of the highway bridge and canal banks via a small boat.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
