Navigation and towpath will remain open.
A canal bed survey will be taking place between lower Walsall Street Bridge and Bilston Road Bridge. The boat is a 3.8m rescue inflatable and will be launched from the towpath. It will be transported by trailer and put in by two staff members. Readings from the boat will be undertaken using handheld measuring equipment.
Banksmen and signage will be in place to warn boaters. Please take care when passing through this section.
