ADVICE (8am Monday 27 February until 6pm Friday 31 March 2023)
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 186 and Bridge 185, Griffiths on the Trent & Mersey Canal to replace overhead electricity cables, safety netting over the canal will be supported by temporary scaffolding on either side of the canal which will remain in place for the duration of the works.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, warning signs will be used and banksmen on site.
Please approach with caution and be prepared to wait for up to 20 minutes until it is safe to pass or for contractors to move out of the way.
