Unfortunately we have experienced some delays with arranging a crane wagon.
We now expect to have navigation open again Friday 10th February.
Update on 06/02/2023:
We have arranged for a crane wagon to arrive onsite to remove the bricks on Wednesday 8th February. We are therefore hoping to have navigation open by then.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8pm Sunday 5 February 2023 until further notice)
There has been a bridge strike at Bull Street Bridge on the Stourbridge Canal yesterday evening. The team have been out to make the area safe but there is a substantial bit of parapet wall making navigation impassable through the bridge.
Our team will be on site this morning to see how they can remove the wall safely. We will aim to provide another update by 12 noon today.
