TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Wednesday 18 January until 5pm Thursday 19 January 2023)
A large concrete slap will be installed over the valve chamber at Stockton Pumping Station.
Contractors will be using machinery to move and install the slab. The towpath will be closed for safety reasons while machinery is on site.
A towpath diversion will be in place via the bridleway connecting Stockton Road to Bridge 22. The towpath closure will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so.
