Update on 20/12/2022:
We are pleased to advise the pipes have now thawed and the Customer Service Facility at Anderton Boat Lift, on the Trent & Mersey Canal is now open.
Update on 16/12/2022:
Please be advised that due to the weather conditions the customer service facility at Anderton will need to remain closed until the system has thawed.
An update will be provided on Tuesday 20th December

Please be advised that all customer service facility at Anderton boat lift, on the Trent and Mersey Canal is currently out of use due to frozen pipes.
Contractors have been informed and we anticipate their attendance on site today.
An update will be provided this afternoon.
