Pollution incident at Bromford Junction, Oldbury, New Mainline

ADVICE (4pm Friday 2 December until 12noon Monday 5 December 2022)
We’re working closely with the Environment Agency to tackle a substantial pollution incident near to Bromford Junction. Our contractors are currently carrying out a clean-up operation on site, making use of bubble curtains to contain the spill. As a result, there is currently no need for navigation closure or restriction, but we would ask boaters pass through this area with extra care.
We’ll provide an update on the situation by 12 noon on Monday 5th December.
