Lock 83 Brownsfield
Update on 29/11/2022:
We are pleased to advise the repair to Lock 83, Brownsfield on the Rochdale Canal has been successful and navigation has resumed.
Update on 28/11/2022:
Please be advised our teams required an additional delivery of materials to repair Lock 83, Brownsfield on the Rochdale Canal.
Our teams will return to site tomorrow to continue with the repair.
A further update will be provided Tuesday 29 November.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (4pm Friday 25 November 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is closed at Lock 83, Brownsfield on the Rochdale Canal. Whilst the team were onsite repairing Lock 82, they noticed the gate has come out of its pin at Lock 83.
Due to equipment and materials required, our team will be onsite Monday and will endeavour to repair. A further update will be provided Monday 28 November.
