We’re pleased to advise works are now complete and the towpath is open again.
Update on 14/06/2023:
Unfortunately contractors have ran into some delays on site. We are therefore having to extend the notice end date to Thursday 24th August.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Update on 26/05/2023:
Works have now been completed on the Netherton Tunnel Branch and the towpath is back open again here.
Works continue on the Dudley No 2 Canal, between Windmill End Bridge & Gosty Hill Bridge.
TOWPATH CLOSURE (until 5pm Wednesday 19 July 2023)
Works will be carried out to improve the towpath as part of a programme that will run from 10th October 2022 to July 2023.
There will be periodic interruptions with using the towpath during this period. Different sections will be closed at different times.
