We are pleased to advise the towpath is back open between Caughall Bridge 134 to the M53 Bridge 135A, on the Shropshire Union Canal following completion of the towpath works.

Please be advised due to weather conditions works to surface the towpath will be delayed until 28th November
TOWPATH CLOSURE (7am Monday 21 November until 5pm Friday 2 December 2022)
Please be advised the towpath will be closed from Caughall Bridge 134 to the M53 Bridge 135A, this is to allow contractors to lay the top dressing surface of the towpath. Once the surface is laid it needs time to set before the towpath can be re opened.
