Between Lock 61 and Higher Boarshaw Bridge
RESTRICTION (8am Monday 24 October until 5pm Friday 28 October 2022)
| Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite to carry out a detailed inspection of the Railway Bridge between Lock 61 and Higher Boarshaw Bridge on the canal Rochdale Canal To be able to inspect the bridge, a pontoon will be in place. We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen and to take note of the signage onsite. |
