TOWPATH CLOSURE (10.45am Friday 23 September 2022 until further notice)
The stretch of water in the pound between Tuel Lane Lock and Bridge 4 is currently empty and we are working to investigate this with the assistance of the contractor team working on the leak repair near Bridge 3.
Due to safety concerns, we are closing the towpath until we can restore the levels.
Please do not attempt to find an access route onto this closed stretch of towpath as we will also be attempting to close these off too.
We will update on the situation accordingly.
