Due to unforeseen circumstances, crane lifts over the canal and towpath to facilitate the redevelopment of University Station will remain until 28/02/2023. Lifting will be permitted between 22.00 and 06.00. The overnight mooring adjacent to the Train Station remains suspended until 28th February 2023.

The overnight mooring adjacent to the Train Station is actually suspended until 28th November.
ADVICE (2pm Monday 12 September until 6am Monday 28 November 2022)
The towpath and canal will remain open.
Volker Fitzpatrick will be lifting materials over the canal and towpath to facilitate the redevelopment of University Station. Lifting will be permitted between 22.00 and 06.00. Banksmen will be present on site. We kindly ask customers to follow directions from banksman and be prepared to wait for a short period of time whilst the crane lifts materials over the canal. Please take extra care when passing through the work areas.
Please be advised that due to the crane lifting over the canal, there will be no overnight mooring permitted adjacent to the Train Station redevelopment until 12th November.
