Fallen tree across the towpath – 500m from Ripon basin carpark

Update on 14/09/2022:
The fallen tree has been removed from the towpath and the towpath is now free from any obstructions.
RESTRICTION (11am Wednesday 7 September 2022 until further notice)
A tree has fallen down, blocking the towpath 500m from the car park at the end of the canal on the North side closest to Ripon racecourse.
We are arranging for it to be removed and will update the notice once it has been cleared away and the towpath is free from the obstruction.
