ADVICE (7am Tuesday 30 August until 7pm Friday 2 September 2022)
Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite at the Railway Bridge on the Rochdale Canal.
The third party contractors, working on behalf of Network Rail will be inspecting the structure of the rail bridge via a temporary pontoon and scaffold tower.
Whilst the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if requested (up to 30 minutes) to allow the equipment to be moved out of the way.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
