Ends At: Lock 2, Bellfurrows Lock

We have received sufficient water and we are reopening this section of canal.
We will be closely monitoring the navigation for any changes.
Update on 12/09/2022:
We are still closely monitoring the conditions of low water levels from Ripon Canal Head basin to Bellfurrows Lock.
We will update the notice when we have sufficient water to reopen the section.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (5.30pm Wednesday 10 August 2022 until further notice)
Due to low water levels and limited water resources, we are closing the navigation from Ripon Canal Head Basin to Bellfurrows Lock.
We will be closely monitoring the water levels and will update the notice when the water levels have replenished.
