AN INDUSTRIAL museum located at the junction of two canals is appealing for more volunteers.
Etruria Industrial Museum in North Staffordshire is home to a mill which was an important supplier of bone and flint to pottery and agricultural industries from the early 1800s.
There are 25 active helpers at the museum located at the junction of the Trent & Mersey and Caldon canals. But more volunteers are required ahead of this year’s steaming weekends and special events.
The museum itself was opened by Northern steeplejack and Northern TV personality Fred Dibnah in 1991.
