Canalside Farm near Stafford, has announced today that they will be holding a brand new Christmas event this year.
The ‘Magical Winter Forest’ will open on Friday the 4th December and entry will be free of charge. Visitors will be able to wander through a maze of hanging Christmas Trees, with various activities for children to complete on the way.
Anna Barton, Co-owner of the Farm, said: “We have never done an event like this before, but as it’s been such a difficult year for everyone, we thought it would be great to do something magical and uplifting on the Farm this Christmas.
“The event will be located in our huge Glasshouse, so there will be plenty of space, and staff will be on hand to manage the flow of visitors and ensure everyone’s safety.”
There will be lots of fun activities to keep the children entertained, including Helping Santa Find his Lost Reindeer and Letter Writing to Santa (which includes a letter back from Santa himself!).
Farmer Chris-mas will also have his Tractor-Sleigh on hand, for children to sit in at the end and have their photo taken. And if the children want to take a slice of the forest back home with them, the Farm will be selling freshly cut Premium Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees for the first time this year.
If you would like to visit the forest it will be open across the weekend – including the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th December. Entry to the forest is free but there will be a small charge for some of the children’s activities in order to cover costs.
