Saltersford Large Lock
Update on 10/03/2022:
We are pleased to advise the repair to the control box at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation has been successful and navigation has resumed as per the Winter Booking System.
Update on 28/02/2022:
Works to repair the damaged control box at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation have been rescheduled due to recent storms, and repairs are due to begin this week. Whilst repairs to the control box are being undertaken, it is essential that anyone requiring passage through the lock books at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have team members available to assist with the passage.
Passages are available on weekdays only and bookings can be made by calling our North West team on 03030 404040 during office hours.
A further update will be provided by Friday, 11 March.
Update on 21/02/2022:
Our engineers have investigated the damage to the control box at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation and repairs are due to begin this week, subject to ongoing emergency works following the recent storms. Whilst repairs to the control box are being undertaken, it is essential that anyone requiring passage through the Lock on the Weaver Navigation books at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have team members available to assist with the passage.

Update on 14/02/2022:
Our engineers have been to site and investigated the issue at Salterford Lock on the Weaver Navigation. Repairs to the bottom gate have been completed, however the team have established an issue with the control box. Whilst repairs to the control box are being organised, it is essential that anyone requiring passage through the Lock books at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have team members available to assist with the passage.

Update on 11/02/2022:
Please be advised our engineers attended site today and require a return visit to progress with the repair of the bottom gate.
A further update will be provided Monday 14 February.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (3pm Thursday 10 February 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation due to a fault with the bottom gate. Our engineers have been informed and are due on site tomorrow.
