Lock 9, Mile End Lock
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (4.30pm Saturday 9 April 2022 until further notice)
Downstream paddle has been damaged causing the lock to not equalise. The lock is therefore not passable and is being locked shut for safety.
Our team will be on site tomorrow to attempt a temporary repair in order to get the lock back in use.
We will update this notice when we have more information tomorrow.
