Sheepcote Street Bridge, Sheepcote St. to Bar Lock Footbridge, Gas Street on New Mainline and
Salvage Turn Bridge to Salvage Turn Bridge on Worcester & Birmingham Canal

ADVICE (9am Saturday 25 June until 9am Sunday 26 June 2022)

A colourful parade of boats, organised by the IWA, BCNS and Canal & River Trust.

The boat parade will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 25 June, with around 70 boats expected to be involved. Boats will leave their moorings at Sheepcote Street Bridge (the Roundhouse) and then travel to the Mailbox (the main part of the parade), with boats then proceeding to the Vale or Selly Oak to wind and return.

Reserved moorings will be in place from Sheepcote Street Bridge to Ladywood Middleway from 9am on Saturday 25 June until 9am on Sunday 26 June.

Please be aware that during the parade times (2pm to 4pm) the navigation will be extremely busy and we would ask that boat movement in this area is kept to an absolute minimum. If boats need to move, skippers of all craft are advised to follow any instructions given by the event stewards and to proceed with extreme caution.

Thank you in advance for your patience and we hope you enjoy the spectacle.
