Water levels have come down over the weekend and boaters can now travel between Kings Lock (Leicester Line) and Redhill Lock (River Soar). Please proceed with care and keep checking our website for water level updates.

NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Friday 4 March 2022 until further notice)

CAUTION STRONG STREAM 

We advise users of all boats not to navigate the Grand Union Canal from Kings Lock, through to the River Soar at Redhill Lock because the strong flows make it difficult and dangerous (Locks may be closed) 

Boaters are asked not to travel along this section until further notice.
