Update on 19/03/2022:

Water levels have started to come back down and boaters can now navigate the Grand Union Canal from Kings Lock, through to the River Soar at Redhill Lock, but please proceed with care.  

ADVICE (Thursday 17 March 2022 until further notice)

CAUTION STRONG STREAM 

We advise users of all boats not to navigate the Grand Union Canal from Kings Lock, through to the River Soar at Redhill Lock because the strong flows make it difficult and dangerous (Locks may be closed) 

Boaters are asked not to travel along this section until further notice.
