Starts At: Lock 70 – Barkers Lock
Ends At: Lock 64 – Pastures Lock
Update on 02/08/2022:
Our local team have been working hard and the water levels are starting to come back up again. Boaters can now proceed with care.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Friday 29 July 2022 until further notice)
We are still experiencing extremely low water levels on the Erewash canal between Barkers Lock and Pastures Lock.
The team have been working hard to try and improve the water levels this week, but this section is now un-navigable.
We strongly advise boaters not to travel this section of the canal.
The team are on site, and when the situation improves we will update the website accordingly.
