Please be advised that Third Party Contractors will be onsite between bridge 10, Ashton New Road bridge and bridge 11 Clayton Lane Bridge on the Ashton Canal.
The Third Party Contractors working for the Rothen Group will be carrying out de-vegetation works to the offside boundary wall, ahead of the bird breeding season to remove shrubs, saplings and also fell two well established trees close to Clayton Lane bridge.
Although the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely ask customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary. Please take note of any signage and listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors on site.
