Easter fun on the farm

CANALSIDE Farm near Stafford will be holding a series of Easter workshops over the school holidays.

If you are looking for fun and creative ways to keep children entertained over the Easter break, then this could be the answer.

The workshops will run on April 15, 16, 17 and 18, and will range from nest-building to outdoor craft, starting at 10am and lasting about two hours.

Tickets start from £5 per child depending on the activity, which will include all the necessary materials.

There will also be an Easter egg hunt on April 18.

Other activities at the farm include going for a walk along the canal, or take your bikes as there are some great family towpath cycle rides which take in the wildlife and scenery. Free maps are available from the farm shop and café.

Located on the side of the Trent and Mersey canal, it’s a great place to sit and watch the canal boats go by.
