Who's standing for council?

VOTING starts in the election for the Canal & River Trust Council on Wednesday February 8 with packs going out to all eligible private boaters on Monday (February 6).

There are 33 private boater candidates competing for four seats and five boating business candidates competing for two seats. They will be elected using the single transferable vote system.

Voting will be open until March 9.
