PREPARATIONS are already well under way for the 5th Leeds Waterfront Festival and Boat Gathering this summer.

There will be boat trips, heritage boats, canoe sessions and dragon boats, plus live music, dancing, family activities, arts and crafts, food and drink.

Boaters can arrive at Thwaite Mills Watermill Museum from Friday, June 29, and the festival continues until Sunday, July 1.

Events take place all along the waterfront – from Granary Wharf on the Leeds & Liverpool through to Twaite Mills on the Aire & Calder.

For more information visit www.leedswaterfrontfestival.com or if you want to bring a boat contact elaine.scott@waterways.org.uk
