Giving a bit back

boat-museumAS WORKS neared completion to reopen the Rochdale Canal following the repairs needed after last winter’s Boxing Day floods, the volunteers at the Boat Museum Society based at Ellesmere Port raised £70 from raffle proceeds to go towards the cost of the repairs.

Jeff Fairweather, chairman of the Boat Museum Society (pictured) comments: “Over the past few of years the Trust has been very supportive of the museum and volunteers at Ellesmere Port and this is our way of giving just a little bit back.”
