The darling boats of May Gallery
GLORIOUS spring weather greeted the 22 boats which made the trip to the annual May gathering at South Kyme in Lincolnshire.
Sleaford Navigation Trust director John Line and South Kyme parish councillor Stephen Coy enjoying ‘a cracking weekend’.
The mediaeval encampment around the Kyme Tower with, in the background, the queue of people waiting to ascend the tower.
The waterway is known as the Kyme Eau between the village and its confluence with the River Witham at Chapel Hill.
