“I have been entranced by magic all my life and love bringing my enthusiasm to youngsters. Magic requires precision, timing and confidence, all of which are good life lessons.. Easter Sunday is a time families are out or have relatives round and I think this is a really different and interesting thing for them to do.I welcome any child who would like to learn more about magic to join me for this workshop. There is no need to have had any previous experience of magic”
Katherine West, Museum & Arts Manager, Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: “We are enormously grateful to Matt Grindley for his support. This magic workshop promises to be something rather special and a lovely way of trailing our Magic at the Museum Weekend’, which will not only feature the Magic Competition but also a series of magically-themed craft activities, a Mystical Tea, a ‘Chest of Curiosities’ and magical science experiments. It is the perfect event for children who might be on the waterways enjoying their Easter holidays.”
